Patcher not working for me

Launcher isnt working for me, downloaded the file from announcments extracted and ran patcher....nothing happens

Did you run the patcher in the new client or move it to your old client? If so, run the patch in the new client and just import over any SCREEN_GAME files for your hotkeys
Did you run the patcher as administrator?
Did you either disable any anti-virus software or make your sb directory an exception for scanning/monitoring?

If these don't work then let me know what OS you're running and we'll go from there. You can also message me on discord for a quicker response.

Ran as admin in new client folder, anti-virus has been disabled....running windows xp (yea i know)

XP might have been one of the OS that Chimpy had trouble getting working. Are you able to get .net framework 4.5 or higher on it?

No it is not it seems. That is likely the issue.

We had a launcher-lite somewhere that bypasses that issue. Lemme see if it is still working for live.

Here's that launcher. Put that in the client you just finished downloading and run that as administrator. See if that does the trick.

XP can't get dotnet 45 framework. I think this method works for XP if you want to check your version.

checked my windows OS says i have windows 7 home premum....still isnt working tho

Alright if you have windows 7 then download the latest version of dotnet framework and try regular launcher again. I'll talk with devs about that error and additional troubleshooting for you.

launcher is working after downloading framework, but client is getting stuck at loading screen eventually throwing up a fatal app error

Could you try deleting all of the files that start with "SCREEN_GAME" that are in your config folder? As well as remove any third party skins you have? In the Skins folder there should just be Login.zip and Default.zip

If still having issue after that, AFTER you crash, could you go into your logs folder, open your debug.txt file and paste it here?

I am getting the same message. I re-downloaded from your link. ( I have never played SB EMU before yesterday). I was playing Friday night and this morning, and then I guess while I was away for a few minutes you might have had some patch, and now I can't log in. I tried Run As Admin, I have tried using SB and sbe_launcher and I get the same error message. Is there a link to Discord SB EMU?

This is a tricky one - sorry grapes. Looking into it more. It's weird - that is a direct copy of the client that Koots is using which is working perfectly..

Its cool man, prolly something on my end, the MB client still works. not looking to play there though. tried putting that client into your folder and no dice

i cant get the patcher to work either. i run it as admin it goes then nothing doesnt even pop the patcher up

In your "cache" folder, "CObjects.cache"
In your "config" folder, "config.wpak"

Please also ensure there aren't two of either of those files in their directories. Let me know the date/timestamps of the date modified field for those two files either way.
