Vamp MA?

Hey folks, just wondering...

MAs are focused on int/con, which is also the case for most vamp builds. Why haven't I seen any vamp MA builds posted? Are they inherently bad / inferior for some reason?

Vamp MA's still have their place. This is more likely than not on the bane field however. They are capable of some extreme resist spreads.

Shocking as it may be, I would have to disagree... if used properly.

Root target, strip and mantle target, go invis... rinse repeat. Stay in D stance to ensure best resists and they can be very reliable :cool:

And can fly if Gorgoi is used, could be useful for camping cities

Could be.

I am un-aware if a stun will ground said vamp or not, with Slayers up I mean. I can not recall.

I don't believe so. The grounding component is also blocked by Slayer's.

Doesn't change much, though. Any snare or root will still permanently dispel the flight, making the assassin game for any common scout or caster.

I worded this wrong...

Vamp MA's still have their place. Most likely than not, on the bane field. Sorry for the mix-up.

I had a vamp MA that I did very well with in small scale pvp and running around zones by myself or one or two others. Between reg vamp fort, gorgoi fort and flight + holy/fire resist gear I sometimes killed 4-5 people by myself by choosing my targets in the right order and switching forts during the fight and healing myself with the 2 health drains. Fun toon.

shade ratscout in d-stance is the perfect counter. keep the atr-cut on and watch the vamp ma kill itself (literally) while it casts and fails to land. keep a bleed on and just plink away so you get the kill in pvp spam.
