This is an issue in any zone in which there's a duplicate - the "Holms", Jotensgaard/Ymur's Crown, the "Wilds", and the "Highlands" - posted a couple times and on the bug lists.

Yes, it should say "invalid target" when trying to cast it on anything other than a group member who is in death shroud, castable only on corpses. All 30-second DoTs have 7 ticks. At 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 seconds. I have seven ticks in the chat window, also watched seven ticks on the mob itself. 3D combat damage displayed the damage amounts for each tick above the mobs head. Tested this on a toon with commander applied. First I cast travel stance, then cast take no prisoners. It broke travel stance. Going to mark this one as fixed.
