Just to check, you did get the 1.6 client? I download the new client each time and copy over my config files, haven't had an issue yet. Not sure if that helps at all but it may be worth a try.

I bound mouselook to a hotkey. Works pretty well for windowed mode

Alternatively you could bind mouselook to middle mouse, or bind the pan camera settings to the arrow buttons or something like that

Unless you've got a build that can afford to lose 300+ ATR and still reliable hit your opponents, the prefix procs will actually make you proc less often.
