The problem with UA nightstalkers...

UA stalkers are powerful, versatile, and survivable. The problem (for solo play) is that any class can sprint away from you and you literally cannot kill them if they do. If you try to nuke them or dispell a snare/root, that's at least 2 seconds that they have to create a gap that you can never clos...

Seems like they are undoing most of the changes for the upcoming wipe. I doubt that there will be dwarf channelers.

Vampire UA Warlock

I'm posting this because I don't know if this build would work or not and I'm relatively inexperienced with fighterlocks in general. I'm thinking it would be really good DPS with the level 30 UA powers and vampire goodies. Let me know what you think. Vamp UA Warlock Agile Ambi Sttp Brawler 15 dex ru...

What classes do huntresses struggle against?

I haven't really played huntresses too much, and I'm thinking about getting into them more. The context of my question is solo pvp, and mostly with rogue bow nuketresses. What do you guys think? Are there any toons that you dread fighting against or can nuketresses take out just about anything?

Re: Spirit

Now that restoration scales 100% from spirit. How should I balance int vs. spirit? Since this is a super new change, I don't think anyone knows for sure how to deal with it yet. Luckily we have a test server to test out different healer builds. As for my opinion, I still think con/int is king, but ...

Re: help with aelf mage bard

Whether it's a waste of time or not is up to you, but with no passive defense and only wearing cloth, I don't think it's wise to be in melee range vs a lot of toons. The mage has a 9 second stun, but you won't be able to kill anything in 9 seconds on any mage bard. The rogue version is perfectly via...

Health Regen vs. Mana Regen

I have some questions for all of you rogue huntress players in regards to regen. On rangers, it's a no-brainer to just put HR on jewelry and hood prefixes. But for huntresses, I've seen a lot of templates that focus on mana regen instead. My question is, how do you guys decide which regen to use? Do...

Re: Hybrid NS Quesiton

Yes, the def buff stacks now, so def is much more viable for nightstalkers than it used to be. And with the nerf to def and atr cuts, not having an atr cut isn't so bad.

Re: Hybrid NS Quesiton

I've been running with a sort of hybrid build and I like it. Something to the tune of 120 Dex, 86 Con, 140 Int. With the 150 def buff love, you can get pretty high defense that's not as dependent on stance. My NS has 1600+ def in normal and precise and 1900+ in def stance(no vorg, +8 def stuff). All...

Re: Hey Guys, High DPS Bow Build.

Any comments on the cent bow ranger idea? Is it stupid? I'd probably go with a FoF Irekei. Should be about as fast as a centaur nowadays, but can go rogue, which is a superior solo class. EDIT: That is, if you want a fast bow ranger. However, I wouldn't really recommend one as a scout killer. Huntr...

I am working on a minotaur warrior and am confused by int. How does int work when it comes to training and what is a decent number to expect to put into it on order not to be gimped? Call of the crowd is a waste on a toon with a level 35 ranged def cut and GM precise stance(+51%). I probably wouldn't even train precision.

Re: Help a new player become a Shade Mage Assassin?

You won't need to add any points into enfeeblement once you get your intelligence fairly high. Raising intelligence raises the %'s in each of your skills. You may need to add 1 or 2 points to get to 30, but you can refine those out later.

You can definitely salvage that! Starting traits are a hair different, but if you follow this build, you'll do great.

This is generally a bad idea. Roll a sentinel. They have track, heavy armor, an aoe debuff to their damage type, a 50% power damage buff, and the ability to farm oblivion. A fighterlock with a similar build will be less survivable and vastly inferior in the DPS department. Yeah but the warlock has ...

They lowered the creation cost of minos enough to get to 85 int to stack int runes. They can also get FoF or Ambidexterity. And yes, Int mino doomsayers are better than their spirit counterparts.

Re: Defense Barbarians and stylebane

1950 Def is fine if you have an atr cut, but otherwise it will be far inferior to a con/resist variant. Defense is only useful if you can keep other toons from hitting you, and that's simply not going to happen without some way of debuffing your opponent's attack rating.

UA gets no atr cut, it's gimp. No one will ever struggle to hit a rogue with lol level 15 def stance.
