Re: Patch 2.2.0 Discussion!

Hi Dahk These AoEs were improved by over 20% a few phases ago in order to combat zerging (if you remember when they hit 60 people). We are simply un-doing that buff as it no longer serves a purpos due to single boxing and our new anti-zerg mechanisms, as well as the fact that it is causing balance i...

Grapes, could you try downloading this EXE patch installer file: https://ufile.io/3tv5q

Put it inside your shadowbane directory (same place sb.exe is) and run it from there. After that, try running sb.exe directly (without the launcher). If that works, try the launcher. Do you get the same issue?

We aim to GREATLY reduce the need for Botting. Healer Base Support In the Next Phase

Healer http://i.imgur.com/zpyhJJz.png We needed to modify some healer-base cores to implement a good foundation for differentiating DPS healers and supportive healers. No. Those are Redes, as above they will continue to cap at GM due to their more direct combat influence (and to ensure some build diversity). Whether or not Bards need the Melodies to cap at JM instead of GM is up to the community and balance results!

As a long time player of this class, I can't say that these changes are overly exciting to me. Yes, Cuthric is currently set to stack with everything. The damage reduction is in part of our effort to make personal 50% damage buffs more powerful vs group damage chants and lowering the "burst" of melee in general.
