Re: Non-bird, non-vamp bow scout

Human resist proc bow scout, all int/con build. UH/Runecaster/Glad 70+ pierce resists, heals for 150ish a cast, big procs, nice bleed, gold running and dodge :) Yep, human scout. You don't have to go resist based, you can go human int/dex build with 80ish con. Get 2k def and still have decent hp wi...

i recall that potions used to break your track arrow. That doesn't seem to be happening. I suppose I could be wrong.

Re: Human GH melee sentinel

don't bother taking weapon skill runes on an offensive build unless you're also going to take precise. Raised by Dwarves and Bruiser combine for 40 atr, Precise gives you over 60. And honestly if you're doing an offensive build going dual hammer would be way more efficient anyways, you'll get acces...

Re: Is this how you make a neph mage doomy?

I would play a healer anyway ;-) 12% power damage, a stun and a weak damage absorber isn't worth losing LA resists, heals, block and summon. LA resists are garbage. Mages will have better resists, root, stun(immunity), better damage, which on a doomsayer is better for survivability, access to bette...

Runegate bugged

sver 5814

bugged whenever I enter a runegate. Nothing loads and I can't see myself move, although exterior players can witness me moving.

Also, in general, the server is REALLY bad this evening. Very very laggy. Possibly needs a reset, who knows.

Re: Bow nuke/proc bard - Fun build

Consider MoO over PoO (you're fighting in O stance mostly, you'll hit the speed cap) If you go human you can also consider taking blademaster for an extra physical dmg expose. Stuns will be your biggest enemy. Mages shouldn't be a problem though. Track them while you're in stealth, find where they ...

Re: Bow nuke/proc bard - Fun build

bow is best in gvg situations, but thats a given. I wouldn't recommend this build for most GvG situations, it doesn't offer much there unless you untrained sneak/hide and maybe rune caster, then took song of spring, molto retardando and gmed ragnors. Then it would be a semi support bard but still n...

You are probably right Moco, Tdaggs are a better option, especially for aracoix imo. That being said, the bow was a friggin blast.

I'd only train the root if I planned on doing GvG with the toon. Other than that 1 train would suffice.

I've made a few bards along a similar idea. I had an UA human and an aracoix version. The difference was that i didnt take dex past min. I also ran with about 160 base con. More like how you posted your 2nd build as. They are definitely fun toons. I so want to make an aracoix version of my human de...

You'd have an absolute blast on that character I'm sure. The con returns on bard are great. Would you try to go high defense, or just pump up dodge?

I'd rather have a sentinel buffbot and put those trains into the resist buff from RC instead.

Why Aelf over Human? I've rolled both, rarely did I end up using the aelf snare immunity and having all those extra trains on a barb is pretty fun.

Bow nuke/proc bard - Fun build

This is a build I put together before my last hiatus from the game. I was incredibly fond of it. It is not the most efficient or effective (a bow nuke/proc bard likely never will be), but it was the most fun for me to play of any other stealther (Edit: it was the most fun of any toon I've played in ...

i'd rather see Talon Dance toned down more than anything. aside from the natural flight crutch, the always-active 30% damage buff is the main reason there's so many bird Scouts and Thieves also agree with increasing recast on Crippling Blow so that it can't always be active on one target also agree...

OP how? at an open tree? That's all a thief has, really. You don't often see them at banes or mines. The game is not entirely based on banes and mines. Balancing classes solely based on their roles in those departments would be an error. This aint Guild Wars where you hit a button and pop into RvR....

Thieves are silly op indeed. Scouts are silly OP as well, but not as great offensively as the thief.

lol, you should listen to moco's suggestions regarding your build, tooshifty.

You should also refrain from questioning Vivitron's knowledge of Doomsayers. He speaks from far more experience and research than most people have in any class.
