greater astral tether - LOGGED

Server Rev #: 4817

World Location Coordinates, Macrozone, Microzone: everywhere

Character Information (race, class, level): 75 Human Wizard

Bug Summary: Invited Override to my group, cast greater astral tether. There was no yes/no accept window, it just straight up teleported him back to SDR.

I also seem to recall I could send individual group members back to town during live, while remaining in spot by declining my own greater astral tether, though my memory may be foggy on that one.

Steps to Reproduce: invite a person to group, cast greater astral tether, see if a yes/no acceptance window pops up or you/they're teleported back to town

of zerging and recriminations over which side unfairly brought greater numbers approaches 1.

Confirmed. The Wizard himself should also be receiving the prompt.

i am pretty sure the wizard himself did not get a yes/no message, only grp-members in range

I am quite sure about this. I remember being able to send group members home while staying at the location myself.

Everyone I've heard from confirms the wizard is not given an option.

Currently group members are given the option. Going to consider this resolved.

I am afraid they (and you) are wrong, Telemakus.

The spell prompts all affected by the spell if they wish to be recalled or not.

I tested this on a double box. I cast it and a yes/no box came up for my group member, but not for me. I teleported as soon as the spell was cast. I clicked 'yes' and the spell teleported my group member.

How you guys want to interpret those results is up to you.

Partly fixed, people in group are asked, but not wiz himself, as of r5423.
