Yes you were around. At least on the 2nd SS from nov 06 Notice that SS was taken during the old Ice alliance between Lk's and disorder. we owned all of big ice. two mines on the mainland AND OBLIVION. I think this was right around Disorder's peak. Cool to see.

Kinda funny looking, how all of a nation's cities are all bunched up. Of course, those were the days when dropping a ToL next to an enemy's city was one of the best ways to bane.

The screenshot that Shammy posted isn't from 06, it's from early/mid 05.

Xemise wrote:Epic pics. There are tons of old school names in those photos. I noticed Vaelgard the Legendary Guild Hopper in that first image. I remember when he was eagerly awaiting to be sworn in as a knight of UDL and, during the event of his knighting, he's instead executed and then banished from the guild.

May 15, 2004. Judging from that time period, the Unholy Alliance (UDL + EQ + WoV + DHL remnants) had already been laying waste to the nations of the Rainbow Alliance (MV, Free Cities of T, Dragonscale, TDF, GoA, basically everybody else). What sparked that massive server war was the destruction of Pleasure to over 200 people on March 25, 2004. I remember that taking place literally right after the first set of server migrations when guilds from Chaos and War were integrating with the more role-playing oriented Mourning player base.

(Map of Mourning taken on 03/25/04, before Pleasure was destroyed)

Hillbilly, Remember when Morloch's Vengeance lost both Infiltration and Mordkessel, their biggest sovereign and capital city respectively, within a 6 hour period? After Infiltration fell, our massive bane force had to immediately run to Mordkessel with urgency since the banestone had just gone live. Those were probably two of the best banes I've ever attended.

P.S -- I registered here for the sole purpose to link Lindorn to an old post I made which shows a map of Aerynth from early 04. You can stop being Skah! butthurt and deleting posts that are 100% in response to a Shadowbane nostalgia thread. Ban the account, but leave the post.

Anyone know if the guild on the island North of Noob Isles in the ~1 week after release screenshot, was Denied (cities: Xanten, Shadowhaven, etc.)? If so, they led to Morloch Horde's demise (unfortunately). I believe Shipwrecked Pirates eventually took that isle over.

Thanks for sharing the maps. Glad someone kept the images. Good times indeed.
