only took staff on my AM elf for even more epic nukes but it looks nice & well resisted.. Personally I'm all for the higher atr/resists on my Irekei with SD, which would leave those staff trains to GM Stun; JM Heal & higher warding.

Not how I would build one, but it looks good. Mixed caster group sounds good, I will bring a magelock. :D

I have been working on an Irekei BP Mage Channy. I have seen a number of people post here, although it was years ago, that this is an interesting build but not the way they would have done it. I am still looking to see if I can find any help with more specific comments on what you would have done instead! Years ago, when I was playing more regularly, I still was not at the point where I could design templates and I do not know if the changes since this design was initially posted means that this is still a good template or if there are other elements.

Particularly I was wondering if Sundance or should be added to enable duel wield, is there anything a Irekei Mage BP CHanny would want to duel wield? That seems to be the major advantage of the Sundancer rune.

This really probably should have been a new topic, but I apparently cannot start new topics in this forum. Any comments about this builder other Irekei Mage Channy templates would be helpful. Spent a number of hours trying to find some online, but everything I found through Google links to a post that has been deleted, mostly on the original UBI forums.

Yes, almost every Irekei (and Elf, with Bladeweaver) mage will end up dual wielding to get a bit more atr and some resists. Generally a wand is wielded in one hand and a 25% weapon like a sword or a dagger in the other, with +atr enchantments on them. It's the main draw for irekei channies over shade channies.

You'll be able to start threads and send PMs once you get 15 posts, which you can get in a couple of seconds by spamming here.
