To the OP, this was very similar to my build and it was one of my fav toons alltime. It was the best tripple dotting toons breaking stack and getting all the KS. As far as the MA vs Cloth debate.... You guys are right, it depends on what your doing and your playstyle. Mine was mostly a bane/mine toon and i used this ugly brown 47% MA and put extra trains into block. Saved me trains and the difference in resist esp with DA was really not noticble but extra block seemed to help or at least gave me more confidence lol.

Open question-

Is it not worthwhile to train block even with the MA? I realize if you were to go cloth it would probably be necessary and would be easier since you'd have the trains you didn't put into MA. I guess I just like the idea of 100% MA and a reliable block, especially if we're talking low con, just to add another level to survivability. I think in terms of my question I'm considering more of a Solo Fessy than a GvG

Brand The Wicked might be my most refined spell of all, for what it's worth. It fluctuates from GM to very little frequently.

I build them similar to this thread, but like high Block and Resto. I find the trains to take Block to 130, and take Resto to either 120 or 130. I like big heals and big block. Keeps you alive when focused.

Choose between the drain nuke and the fire nuke, there's no reason to train both. You will definitely want to GM your root.

What are you building this for? Judging by all the trains in thaum, I'm guessing small scale. If that's the case, you will want to consider picking up the poison resist and the damage shield, and the drains may not be worth the expense. The difference between 144 trains in thaum and 90 trains in thaum is, judging by the base skills your numbers imply, only 20% focus, or 140 atr in offensive stance. That's likely not worth the 54 trains. If you want atr that badly, pick up precise for 70 to 90 atr and buy yourself something more useful with those trains.

On paper your build looks okay, but I think in practice it's more confused (like not knowing what it wants to do). Unfringed nails down most of what I think is off about it, but I feel the need for Thaum, because ATR is ATR and DMG is DMG, but there's not enough oomph here.

I was under the impression you cannot take brilliant mind AND the human INT (Born of the whatever) at the same time... Am I wrong?

"Heyzeuss"I love playing under CN tags, no drama or at least none that I can understand. Makes playing the game much more enjoyable.
