To start off these are by no means uber/the best builds in the world but the work for me, on that note others may want More resto/NL but I build my druids based around the groups im in so I find my percentages good to my liking(You can tweak to preferance). Now to start off

Aelf #1 (Was built for kiting meat during Mourning server war)

Start Runes:
Tough As Nails
Divine Touch
Warlord's Page
Tough Hide

In-Game Runes:
Huntsman
Sanctifier
Traveller(option)
35 Con
35 Int

Stats at 75:
Strength: Base
Dexterity: Base
Constitution: 140
Intelligence: 140
Spirit: 50

Trains:
Light Armor: 100%
Block: 130%
Benediction: 69%
Restoration: 84%
Nature Lore: 145%
Blessed Mending: 20
Prayer of Mending: 20(was kite group used only when needed in stacks)
Regrowth: GM(Averaged 540-720)
Brallia's Kiss: GM(GM % came in very handy when caught off guard & need to save yourself or an ally)
Breath of Spring: 1 (Ranged group %)
Blessing of the Grove: GM (Personal Int/Spr Buff)
Blight: GM
Grasp of Thorns: GM
Hedge of Thorns: GM
Call Lighting: GM
Earth Quake: 1-10 (depends on what your pref)
Raptor Cloak: 1
Oaken Flesh: 1 (DA isnt worth it IMO)
Sanctifier Wash: 1
Traveller: 1 train in each(optional, I usually have a bot so didn't take it)

*she worked surprisingly well due to damage shield & unholy res, procs didnt do much & rogue killed them selves as I outhealed & running around booned I hit them no problem. I wouldnt recomend this to a NEW player AT ALL. It's made for fun if you can handle the playstyle*

ELF PL DRUID

*In SDR Gear & pot buffed*. Usually set 2 of these up on macro along with a Heal priest(if not i add Regrowth in the macro, which heals about 550-900 average) with another macro that includes pots(carry about 5)/Offensive stance & Int/spr buff. It can tank camps no problem in offensive stance so your damage isnt gimped. Your still sitting with nice Def with full gear & you can pl alts/guild specs while doing other important things

Stats at 75:
Strength: Base
Dexterity: Base
Constitution: 70
Intelligence: 170
Spirit: 92

Ideal Gear:
Full 8 or 9 def/resist LA Set
25 Def/3pd 100% Shield
12 Int/NL Rings
165 atr/5 to all Gilded Scepter

Loved druids for hedge mainly. Its really satisfying seeing an enemy stack crawling towards you with that crap round their legs.

I eventually built a balanced human druid for my guild, but i always liked the centaurs.
My first toon that was any good was my cent druid. My favorite part was that some people would underestimate them and fight when they shouldnt. That and the ability to run in and catch them by surprise when they didnt track often enough.

druid v druid fights were fun, because it was all about engaging first, timing lightning and heals, and maybe having a little lightning resist.

Nice write-ups Moco. Many props for the dmg shield idea on the glass canon elf. Might give it a try next preview. lol

I have a personal preference for humans when it comes to healer based toons... I'm a train whore and find the extra trains worth the stat differences. Especially on something like a pl druid

I'd also probably run a druid with a heal/buffbot priest and neph lootbard (free id, high str and bargaining from shopkeepers) twisting chants in a pl macro group

At higher levels (r5+) mobs I'd include a human def spec sentinel to help keep aggro off the priest/bard.

Elf's by far do it best for PL'ing .. All you need is GM Regrowth/Grp Heal/EQ/Call & Hedge, also the int/spr buff. The rest goes to Resto/NL/LA/block. You get about 1300-1400+ def in off stance on a elf(with a conc & unbooned/8 def gear[obv with 9 it'd be higher]). With 2 of my elf builds & a priest I can tank CG which is one of the most annoying macro spots without issue. A PL druid is never point short so i'll be the first to disagree with making a Human for extra trains.

GM EQ on a human averaged 800-900/ Call was 500- low 700 / It also has less def & less mana, but more health.

The elf
EQ was always in the 1000's, CL was in the high 700- low 900 range, more def & mana. higher def, more mana & higher heals, I'd prefer those on a PL toon

How do you get more mana on a druid? they have same bas spi and with the human you have more points to boost it more.

But thats a variance in your build, not the race. Racially the human would have same spi if you wanted it to.

druids have higher max int and also higher dex... so technically yes they can get higher def and more dmg output... but they have less margin for error when it comes to hard hitting mobs that tend to get a whack in on occasion.

I remember pre-druid love when you could GM EQ, got double booned and EQ had a listed max of 2.5k lol

I wish we still had rogue druids, would make amazing kiting toons but I don't believe we'd get regrowth due to lack of resto if they are still around. But, it may turn it into NL based rather than resto :D

sadly no regrowth but you do have rc... then again RC isn't what it used to be like back in the day either. No rogue druids & gimped rc :cry: ... wtb oldschool SB :D
