I know we all have our favorite scouts to play, this is one that I used on several servers and it was quite effective.

Bring bow down to 90 trains and bring archery to 85 trains. That will be the biggest bang for your buck as far as bow atr is figured.

Each train in bow is 4 atr and each train in archery is 3 atr (if I remember) so going into 2 to 1 trains for bow when archery is still well inside 1 for 1 trains starts to waste you points.

I detest scouts so I can't comment on whether the build itself is any good or not :)

EDIT: Actually, I feel kind of dirty even posting on the scout boards. It's like I'm letting down my parents for just being here! No offense to everyone on these boards though ;)

Not a bad idea, by changing the bow trains to 90 and archery to 85 I increased atr by nearly 40 points and max dmg increased by 6 points... thanks Cools

I dunno. It looks good but not having LA is just one more way for you to get hit. Being solo you're only heal is the drain and you dont have a lot of HP and no regen (guessing you want the glass bow.) On something like this I personally could not totally depend on dodge. But if it works for ya. The only thing i would say is that 128 in dodge is all you really need. i know its only 2 points but they are wasted. (if the calc is accurate with trains past 110 that is) Id take those and drop running a bit to get 90 into archery.

Nope, no lucky. This toon has enough def to hold its own, plus between dodge and running the correct fort this toon does not get hit for much. This toon is a bit glassy but it is a do or die toon. Kill em fast and move on... and it works.

Also I run resist 25% LA. Good enough with dodge and fortitude.

You don't need the spirit gate trained. You can get there using other gates.

And when you have strigoi passwall and black mask passwall, you have actually two teleports that don't share cd? if so, then sweet :)

And a minor question regarding passwall, will it cancel stealth when you cast it or you cast it hidden? I always played belgosh scout because of utility... so I would like to know, because I am thinking about strigoi vampire.

Honestly I can't remember if they shared a cd or not. Normally I used one to the hell out and then did not need it again for a while. Plus I had an open slot and no other disc options that seemed appealing for this being a solo toon.

Must cast while hidden, but it pops you out of stealth :(

Belgosh is only good if you need to summon, strigoi is for true pvp :)

You have to train detect hidden.
Also the blackmask/strigoi/any "passwall" share a cooldown.

I actually don't remember very well, but every build I see on old ubb forums have 40 pts in Detect Hidden. Anyone can confirm that id does really come GM on scouts? Because I just don't believe it.

No, even in defensive stance. With Precision he should have the same ATR as a dagger thief in defensive stance, which means either there's something wrong with the build, or he has fewer trains in bow/archery than I'm expecting.

No joke he couldn't hit me at all, but rather than go for the quick kill (which would've been easy since my defense was worlds beyond his atr) I instead chose to follow him around refreshing bleed and just watch him helplessly run back and forth until he died.

If I had the video I'd also have the back-to-back embarrassment of a deflar that lost to me on a shade dagger thief without bothering to cast Sway or wings, and the two scouts and bow ranger who only managed to kill me after I ran out of stamina killing two of them.

Damn that was a fun day.
