is Atr vs Def formula working as it should?

Seems like its really easy to hit extrem high def toons. Can someone verify this by having a 1300 atr have a go at a 2400 def toon?
Maybe there is a horrific formula error 2400->1400...

You can go ahead and test it Mr. Closed Beta tester :D

A 1300 atr toon should hit a 2400 toon with a 5% ratio. So get a ~1300 atr toon to attack a 2400 def toon and count the hit/misses. With that data we'll be able to see whether or not it is working.

Yep, its just that i deleted my high def toon, will try to test it when i have the time though!
Just that I see so many running around in vorg gear and i got no vorg gear at all (and now not a single high def toon) so it would take me quite some time to test all aspects of this.

I had a suspicion that it could be a shade or vorg-related bug, but i dunno. Now i think its the mathematical atr vs def =%chanse to hit formula bug. Heh, maybe the old style-casting %bonus atr thing is back without us knowing? :)
If a couple of people would test this with different gear/races/professions it would be great.

I made an extensive test of the atr Vs def formula. It works nothing as has been previously described, personally i like it but I dont know how close it is to how it worked on live. I present a table of results, and at the end I guess at how the formula actually looks like, and I give an example of how it works in the game with atr 1900, def 2099 =60% chanse to hit!

In other terms, if i got 1900 atr and i try to hit someone with 2099 def I have approximately 60% chanse of hitting. He then factors in dodge and parry to see if he actually gets hit. Weapon powers automatically hit even if weapon misses.
